For sure, @WDWEPCOT. Keeping your friend and family in prayers.A very dear friend of mine is having some hard times and I’m requesting prayers for their family for things to improve and turn around for them !
Thank You !!!
Not sure if that bsmc is military medical training, but if it is, you have some great medical knowledge. Don't postpone getting it resolved. 4 or more months is a long time. Don't hesitate to call 911 if you need to. My son, firefighter/paramedic, tells me always, 'that's what we're here for dad'.Friends, please keep me in your thoughts. I've been sick for a little while now (started in mid-Aug). I'm currently experiencing some chest pain and discomfort. Friday, my blood pressure was 170/111 (and that's not the first time it hit that mark or higher). And yet a abdominal CT scan hasn't given us any answers. It was already pretty scary - and since I got the kids down, I've been feeling very flush. I usually run around 97 - so I'm good for the moment (it's at 98.8) but I honestly don't want to go to sleep in case something happens.
Thanks. It's my name, lol. I did go in - nothing tangible. But at least I got it checked out.Not sure if that bsmc is military medical training, but if it is, you have some great medical knowledge. Any luck, Kim, getting earlier date?Surgery set for February 28 [trying to push it for the 14th] but it's an aggressive form....
....no, but there is some promising news: he had a PET scan done on Tuesday and yesterday the doctor's assistant called, leaving a message on his cell that the cancer actually is still contained INSIDE the wall of the prostate and has not spread outside....Any luck, Kim, getting earlier date?
Well that's great news, Kim! Good to hear that. On to the next step now.....no, but there is some promising news: he had a PET scan done on Tuesday and yesterday the doctor's assistant called, leaving a message on his cell that the cancer actually is still contained INSIDE the wall of the prostate and has not spread outside....
...any updates?A very dear friend of mine is having some hard times and I’m requesting prayers for their family for things to improve and turn around for them !

No, sadly. I went into the ER a week or so ago with a BP of 189/99. Lots of symptoms - but no one seems to be digging in to figure out what's going on (the ER says it's not immediately life-threatening, follow up with primary care/specialists - primary care/specialists say they can't get a handle on it and go to ER)....they they come up with any answers?
CORRECTION: I misinterpreted the assistant's conversation. It has, in fact, breached the prostate wall. However, it has not spread to any other areas of the body.....no, but there is some promising news: he had a PET scan done on Tuesday and yesterday the doctor's assistant called, leaving a message on his cell that the cancer actually is still contained INSIDE the wall of the prostate and has not spread outside....
