HARD ROCK HOTEL INFO, FAQ and more........

One (hopefully) last question- are the toiletries in the room the large communal kind? Or individual travel sized kind?

Answering myself in case anyone needs the info later… they are still using the miniature toiletries in “sweet grass” scent- very light and neutral :)

Yes, but the process is complicated. They need to send you a form to give permission for them to charge your credit card. After you return it they will charge your card. I did this last summer for a Portofino reservation and can’t remember all the details. I think you have to contact the hotel directly.
Hopefully, someone will have more info.

I think you have it spot on to be honest.

I`ve never done this but going from memory several folks have said this was the process and yes you do have to call the hotel directly.

We will be there June 9 - 11, with a rental car. Does anyone know what parking will cost us, at the hotel? I’ve looked on the website, but there is an overnight fee and a day fee, so I’m not sure if we pay the total between the two (which would be $75+ for 24 hours and seems insane!), or just the overnight, or . . .

Hello, I am thinking of trying a few days at Universal Studios instead of WDW Jan 2025. Are there balconies in any of the room categories at the HRH? balconies are very important to DH. Oh, and do they book connecting rooms?
TIA!

You can book connecting rooms as a request and no balconies at HRH.

Portofino Bay and Sapphire falls both have some balconies but not many. At Sapphire both Hospitality and Presidential Suites have them.

How strict is Loews with their requirement of having at least one guest age 21 and older in the room? We currently have two rooms but my husband won't be able to come until 2 days later. I forgot if they had checked both our ID in the past.

Thanks 😊

We've had 2 connecting rooms in the past for a mixed adult/child party. Since I did the booking, I was able to check in for both, and get key cards for the whole party. They did not ask to see the IDs (or even confirm the presence) of any of the other adults on the reservation(s). Obviously, your mileage may vary.

Thank you for replying. I called Hard Rock earlier because I was worried about losing the second room and being forced to share the same space with two adult-sized children. They said my reservation was a "guaranteed" connecting rooms and it should be fine with just one adult on the reservation. I didn't think connecting rooms are guaranteed but I'll take whatever they said. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

We just left HR this morning. There are a few things I want to report. Please disregard if they've already been posted.

1. You can no longer add Club access from a regular room. If you want to use the lounge, you have to book a club room.
2. The fee is $55 to add an extra adult to the room. I don't know why this information was offered to me when I wasn't asking.
3. There are three methods of payment for laundry: credit card, coins, and through an app. Unfortunately, none of my credit cards worked. There was another fellow doing laundry, and his cards didn't work either. The machine changing cash into coins was also out of service.

The location is excellent as usual.

Had this issue at Sapphire Falls once. The front desk provided change.
