Thank you for reminding me of breakfast for dinner. It is going on my list for this week. I hope you enjoy the musical. How wonderful of your husband to give your mom a much needed break

Well, the nice, quiet time is coming to an end. We will once again have something going on nearly every day until July. Tomorrow will be my prep day, then it’s school band concerts and dance practices and extra dance practices for the rest of the week, including Sunday.

DH has managed to lose 8 lb in the last 3 weeks. I’m down 1 lb. Dang perimenopause. I just can’t shed it anymore like I used to.

Today: burgers, potato salad, green salad
Monday: dinner salad with egg, cheese and prosciutto
Tues: tacos, prepped ahead
Wednesday: out for Chinese food
Thursday: breakfast for dinner
Friday: sandwiches

Tomorrow- spicy shrimp and pasta marinara
Tues- Hot dogs, pasta salad
Wed- chicken cutlets, rice, green beans
Thur- pasta parma rosa, salad
Fri- baked chicken wings, fries, salad
Saturday- Out

Dern. Just went to the store to buy stuff to grill out tomorrow. Holy smokes. I left after spending $92. Of course, not all was on food. But a majority of it was. Walmart has gotten out of control with their prices. They're killing us with their jacked up prices. Hopefully their management is happy taking advantage of people. Anyway, off my rant now.

We're grilling out tomorrow (hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage).
So that, baked beans and probably salad. Not sure what the rest of the week will hold.
But that one meal costs way, way too much of our grocery budget.

Today: Teriyaki tacos
Tuesday: BBQ grilled chicken (for me)/ Grilled hot dogs for DH
Wednesday: Marinated london broil (pushed from last week's plan) and roasted potatoes
Thursday: Tortellini with butter (me)/ red sauce (DH) and texas toast

With food prices rising daily and an upcoming vacay in Sept. I am committed to eating at home as much as possible.

Sunday - Burgers, hotdogs, potato salad & baked beans
Monday - leftover burgers & potato salad
Tuesday - leftovers again (dicing up the hot dogs and mixing with the beans for beanie weenies😆)
Wednesday - chicken & cheese quesadillas
Thursday - Bao buns with fried rice
Friday - (Pre packaged) Tagliatelle Grilled White Chicken & Portobello Mushroom
Saturday- chicken parm over spaghetti
