Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2024/2025!

After my upcoming trip, when I call to book a bounceback, can I use it to book more than one trip? If so, is there a limit? I have all of our 2024 trips booked already but with the offer extended to October 2025, I may as well try to apply the 35% to all of our anticipated trips for next year (minus Nov/Dec) and not have to watch for GP or AP discounts as they come out.

If booking a trip that starts in an included date range, can that reservation extend into dates that aren't included? If so would those days also be discounted, or rack rate?

Well I have my fall trip from October 27th to November 4th. My first 5 nights are with the BB offer but the remaining nights are at rack rate and that was how I had to book it which I assumed. And since those rack rate nights are over a Disney race weekend I am not counting on any discount for those although that would really be a pleasant surprise. That's my booking experience. Hope it helped.

Yes, it answers my second question. Thanks! I have an 8 night November trip booked on excluded dates at rack rate because it's an extended family trip taking advantage of the school calendar (no wiggle room on dates). I also have a 10 night trip coming up soon that is rack rate because DH wants to experience a particular room type that never gets discounted. I'm hoping to be able to book all of our 2025 trips with a bounceback discount so we don't end up doing rack rate trips next year.

2024 is a big celebration year for us so we are indulging ourselves and doing quite a lot of splurging. Next year will need to be more sensible.

I think that you can book as many individual trips with the bounce back as you want. At least, that was what I was told by a CM. The limit comes when you want to book multiple rooms during one trip. In that case, the limit of reservations during the same dates is three.

If you are booking a bounceback for 2 rooms - do both parties have to stay at the same resort? Going in September this year and want to book a bounceback for September of next year. Can book a value resort and a villa room? Going with a family member next year that wants to stay in a villa room

At one point, didn't the lead guest in a separate room need to be booked on the current reservation for a bounce back? I think it was that way earlier, but I haven't used it up until this year and all parties for the same for the time that I booked.

Can’t remember how it worked in the past but now, a current guest can book up to 3 rooms on a bb offer. The guest creating the bb offer must be booked to stay during the same dates they are booking bb rooms for others.

Eg last summer I booked a bb offer for me and my cousin’s family. My family will be there for 10 days. I booked 2 rooms for my cousin who will be there some of our 10 days.

I realize I can book 2 rooms with my solo trip bounce back but can they be at 2 different resorts. Like 1 at Pop and 1 at the Riviera? I want to use the bounce back offer from my trip in the fall for a room for my nephew at the Riviera and a room at Pop for me in 2025. Can it be done? Or do you both have to stay at the same resort?

I think I only heard of this taking place once, and it was pre-pandemic, but they allowed it, as long as the full dates of the other room were within the dates of the guest/room bouncing back. If you call to book this, please let us know how it goes so we can update the FAQ on the first post.

After my stay, I booked a bb and made two reservations. One was three days at CR and the other 3 days at YC. I did a split stay. Granted both rooms were for myself and family, it had no problems doing it. This was either last fall or winter.

Yes, that's a common scenario - you can book as many trips as you want for you - the bounceback guest.

Does just the check in date need to be in one of the BB date windows, or does the whole trip have to be completed in that window? I know with some previous discount offers as long as the check in date was in the window it was fine... but not sure about BB?

This is a room only discount. That means each night is individually discounted if it's an included date, or at rack rate if it's not included.

This is different than package discounts (e.g., free dining, stay/play/dine) where the discounted components are based on the package start date.

I am asking if I can use my bounceback offer from a solo trip that I am taking this fall for 2 rooms at 2 different resorts 1 for me and 1 for my nephews family that we are taking together next year? Or do both rooms have to be at the same resort?
